Zoals u wellicht weet worden nog steeds stakingen gehouden door schoonmaakmedewerkers in Nederland en ook op enkele Philips-locaties. Deze stakingen kunnen hinder veroorzaken bij het uitvoeren van uw werkzaamheden. Wij zijn ons hiervan bewust en vragen uw begrip voor deze situatie. Staken is een wettelijk gegarandeerd recht en Philips is daarom zeer beperkt in het ondernemen van verdere actie. Er zijn onderzoeken gestart om de gezondheidstechnische situatie in onze Philips-gebouwen te kunnen blijven garanderen. De eerste resultaten hiervan zijn donderdag 26 januari aanstaande beschikbaar. Dear colleagues,

As you are no doubt aware, cleaning staff in the Netherlands, and at a number of Philips sites as well, are still taking strike action. These strikes can hamper you in the performance of your work. We are aware of this and would like to ask you to be patient and understanding. People have a legal right to strike, and for this reason Philips is very limited in terms of the action that can be taken. Investigations have been commenced to enable us to continue to ensure a good standard of health and hygiene in our Philips buildings. The initial results of these investigations will become available on Thursday 26 January 2012. We will keep you informed about the developments.
